Hangyul was the ninth member that was announced [September 23, 2020 at 5:03pm]

Hangyul debuted on first group, "IM" - a sub-unit of "IM66" on September 1, 2017 with a ballad single, "Sad Story"

Hangyul joined KBS' "THE UNIT" one month after his debut in IM66. He ranked 13th overall. (Hangyul shared that he really enjoyed THE UNIT)

Hangyul was featured on UNB's promotions for "Black Heart" - thus the born of Blonde Lee Hangyul

Hangyul joined MNET's "PRODUCE X 101" on 2019. He ranked 7th overall. (Hangyul shared that it was very hard for him during PDX and described the show as "the beginning of hell")

Hangyul made his second debut with X1 on August 27, 2019

After X1 promotions, Hangyul debuted in the duo - H&D with Nam Dohyon on April 21, 2020

During his pre-debut, he was a backup dancer of MBK artists - Shannon Williams, T-Ara and DIA

He is known as a very sociable idol. In fact he is friends with 99 liner idols - AB6IX Woojin; CRAVITY Serim; TXT Yeonjun; and MCND Castle J and many artists to mention [feels like he make friends at music shows hehe]

Hangyul said he likes red pandas because they look cute when they're angry

Hangyul is raising Turtles at their dorm alongside J-Min and recently mentioned that his turtle's name is "Papago"

Hangyul will make his actor debut with a SF Fantasy Romance web drama titled "Love in Black Hole". He will act as the lead, Han Taeyang who is a college student who only knows how to drink and so into musical activities. WJSN's Seola will play the female lead and SF9's Jaeyoon will also be one of the leads - this portrays a love triangle.

Hangyul shared that he is into photography - his new hobby as he purchased a new camera
